IT Project Managment Services
The United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) is a water management agency with 600 dams in the 17 western states and is known best for construction of dams, power plants, and canals, including Hoover Dam on the Colorado River, Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River, and Folsom Dam on the American River. Reclamation is the largest wholesaler of water in the country and second largest producer of hydroelectric power in the western US. Reclamation is organized into five regions - Great Plains, Lower Colorado, Mid-Pacific, Pacific Northwest, and Upper Colorado.
USBR Information Management and Technology (IMT) is responsible for implementing and managing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for enterprise applications within USBR in compliance with the Federal IT Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) regulation. The purpose of this professional services IDIQ is to perform work in support of software development activities via task order when workload either exceeds the capacity of the assigned federal staff or requires specialty knowledge and experience that the federal staff does not possess.
