TDG performed certification and accreditation services for the Safe Schools Healthy Students National Evaluation (SSHS-NE) system.

The system consists of a database-driven website that collects, stores, and tracks information on SSHS grantees, partner organizations, affiliated staff members, local programs, supporting documents, and records of site visit notes and telephone interviews. The system supports the ongoing evaluation of SSHS efforts.  Data in the system include name, location, demographics, funding, and associated research staff for each SSHS grantee:

·         Name and role of each partner organization

·         Name, role, and contact information for representatives of partner organizations

·         Name and contact information for National Evaluation Team staff involved in data collection

·         Title, status and qualitative research data for programs at each site

·         Qualitative research data acquired during on-site interviews of key site staff

·         Qualitative research data acquired during annual telephone interviews

The nationwide system is physically located in Portland, Oregon, and the enterprise environment is connected to the Internet via T1 lines that provide redundancy and failover. All systems are protected within the Active Directory security constrains behind a firewall.  TDG performed the onsite C&A effort over four days of interviews, document examination, and vulnerability scanning of the system.
