RMF Step 4 – FFAVORS
TDG performed the USDA Risk Management Framework Step 4 certification and accreditation services for FNS for the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Order Receipt System (FFAVORS) system.
FFAVORS supports the fresh fruit and vegetable mission for USDA customers for DLA serviced by long term produce contracts. The web-based system tracks customer orders from the point of vendor catalog pricing, through customer ordering, vendor delivery, customer receipt, and vendor invoicing.
Currently, FFAVORS, located in Philadelphia, PA, is a production information system and received an Authority to Operate (ATO) under the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). In December 2011 under the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), FFAVORS is slated to migrate to one of the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Information Technology Center (NITC) data centers located in Missouri.
TDG conducted the RMF Step 4 Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) using the USDA RMF process. All RMF Step 4 steps were completed on time and within budget.
